Overview
Field Notes is an independent digital publication exploring design, architecture, culture, and emerging creative voices. Relay Studio developed a new editorial identity and digital platform.
Challenge
Field Notes had strong editorial content but its previous digital presence didn't reflect the quality or personality of the publication.
Our Approach
We created an editorial-first system using a flexible grid, expressive typography, immersive imagery, and modular article layouts with a distinct visual rhythm.
Outcome
The new platform gives Field Notes a stronger editorial presence and a flexible foundation for future stories and content.
